My Story
Taylor Mauro is a passionate and trial-tested attorney who focuses her practice on family law and civil litigation. A former prosecutor with extensive courtroom experience, Taylor thrives in high-stakes situations and brings a calm, steady hand to clients facing some of the most challenging moments in their lives.
Taylor became a lawyer out of a deep interest in government and a personal calling to help people. Today, she’s driven by that same purpose—helping individuals and families navigate the legal system with clarity, confidence, and compassion. Whether advocating in a custody dispute or litigating a complex civil matter, she combines sharp legal skills with a genuine willingness to listen.
Before entering private practice, Taylor served as an Assistant District Attorney in Dallas and Tarrant Counties, where she prosecuted cases at all levels—from misdemeanor offenses to the most serious felony charges. That experience taught her how to manage intense pressure, prepare thoroughly, and make compelling arguments when it matters most—all skills she now uses to fight for her clients.
Taylor earned her law degree from Baylor University School of Law, where she was recognized as a Public Interest Fellow for her extensive volunteer work. She holds a B.A. in Political Science, cum laude, from the University of North Texas, and is licensed to practice in Texas.
Outside of the courtroom, Taylor enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, reading, traveling to new places, and cooking with her family.
